Working in PR definitely keeps you on your toes and puts you in the mindset to always be prepared. When a news channel in LA reached out to do a segment with Janet Mandell of By:Fashionholic we had our flights booked and bags packed immediately! Jetting across the country last minute definitely called for a little fun and relaxation - and what better place than Palm Springs! Located just east of Los Angeles, this desert town was the perfect break from the chilly Chicago wind.
