My Top 6 Travel Essentials

Whether I am going to a cold or warm climate destination, there are six products I cannot forget to pack!

Dr. Barbara Sturm Cleanser: This gentle foaming face cleanser removes leftover makeup, dead skin and dirt, while preparing the skin for a moisturizer or serum. The Sturm Cleanser is packed with dynamic ingredient purslane, which promotes the body’s natural skin regeneration and protects against free radicals. The aloe vera calms, soothes and hydrates the skin. I use about a quarter-size pump and apply to my skin in a circular motion, and then rinse with lukewarm water.

Pro Tip: Pat your face dry with a CLEAN washcloth– Change the towel you use to dry your face every couple of days to avoid bacteria build-up. Rubbing your face dry leads to irritation and loss of skin elasticity over time!

KOS Jardin des Soleils Body Oil: This 98% natural body oil protects, nourishes and hydrates your skin. Not only does this oil leave the skin feeling silky smooth, but it also smells amazing! The Sun Garden oil combines apricot (radiance-boosting), hazelnut (protective), macadamia (nourishing), grape seed (antioxidant) and sweet almond (softening) oils. The beauty oil can also be used in your hair.

HERBIVORE Jasmine Body Oil: I also love this hydrating body oil by Herbivore Botanicals. It is a pure blend of pure, natural botanical oils that leaves the skin glowing and hydrated. The Jasmine Oil soaks deeply into the skin to moisturize and nourish with antioxidants and vitamins, and does not leave a thick residue behind.

Balmain Silk Perfume: Have you ever heard of perfume for your hair? The Balmain Silk Perfume is a fresh, summer-inspired fragrance that contains silk proteins and organic Argan oil. This perfume can work as a detangler, leave-in conditioner or finishing spray. The special formula of silk and Argan oil work together to repair damaged hair, provide a long-lasting shine and protect against external damage. You only need a small amount to give you shining and beautiful looking hair!

SACHAJUAN Hair Oil: This intensive hair oil repairs the hair and provides an extreme shine. The Sachajuan formula combines Argan oil and Sea Buckthorn oil to strengthen and maintain moisture levels. I love how my hair absorbs the product weightlessly without leaving a heavy residue. It is also formulated WITHOUT parabens, sulfates and phthalates.

SISLEY Self Tanning Hydrating Facial: Before a vacation, I like to get a spray tan from GoGlow. To maintain my color, I use Sisley Self Tanning face cream. This product offers a natural and uniform tan. It’s light, silky texture leaves a soft finish (no streaks). The formula’s Alpine Rose extract provides the look of deeply moisturized skin, which makes the tan appear more radiant and even.

Pro Tip: Apply a thin, even layer onto clean and dry skin. Do not forget to wash your hands after application! Repeat every 2-3 days to intensify your tan.

You may need to leave that extra pair of shoes or spare outfit at home to fit all your products (or just check another bag haha), but it’s worth it! The best thing you can do for your skin during a trip is to keep up with your normal skincare routine, especially the use of sunscreen! All these products are high quality and smell amazing– test them out for yourself and let me know what you think!
