HydraFacial x Leah Chavie

It's been said that every 15 seconds, a Hydrafacial treatment is performed somewhere in the world. What makes this facial superior to others? Within 30 minutes, the Hydrafacial technology deeply cleans, extracts and hydrates the skin, leaving you with a natural glow. I stopped by Leah Chavie’s Skincare boutique to try the treatment for myself.

Here’s how it works:

Step One

Cleanse + Peel

First, Leah uses the vortex-extraction nozzle to open pores and extract makeup debris and dead cells from the skin’s surface. After the face has been properly cleansed, a Glysal Peel (glycolic acid + salicylic acid) is applied. This peel combines the benefits of aggressive exfoliation and chemical peels into a gentle one-step resurfacing procedure.

Step Two

Vivace + Dermaplaning

For my HydraFacial, Leah included dermaplaning followed by Vivace Microneedling. Dermaplaning removes unwanted facial hair and dead skin cells from the face. After the peach fuzz is gone, Leah uses Vivace to target my acne and boost collagen production. Vivace is an FDA-cleared treatment that uses microneedling technology combined with radio frequency and light therapy to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections, in addition to lifting and firming the skin.

Step Three

Hydrate + Protect

After opening the pores via microneedling, Leah continues with the HydraFacial. The next step is to hydrate! The vortex-fusion tool infuses a multi-peptide and antioxidant blend into the skin, deeply nourishing and naturally detoxifying. This powerful formula protects the skin from environmental free-radicals and replenishes elasticity and hydration.

Step Four

Application of Stem Cell Serum

At the end of the facial, Leah applies a stem cell serum to nourish the skin, promoting cell turnover and increasing collagen production.

Step Five

Oxygen

To finish the treatment, Leah dusts the face with a refreshing oxygen-rich mist.

Immediately after the treatment, my face was GLOWING! There was little redness from the microneedling, however, it calmed within the hour. My skin felt clean and rejuvenated. Aftercare is simple; no touching your face for 4 hours. That’s it!

What is amazing about the HydraFacial is that it can be customized for each face. You can enhance your experience with serum boosts, lymphatic therapy, and/or LED light therapy. Leah will help custom your treatment.

For the month of February, Leah is offering a Buy 2, Get 1 free for the Signature HydraFacial (originally $200 per treatment). Any additional treatments will be an added cost.

Enjoy!
