Lunch Break: Bento Boxes at Katana

Katana Sushi & Robata is one of our go-to spots for a team lunch or a meeting with a client. It has some of the best specials in River North and an amazing central location. The sleek interior makes it the perfect place to grab a cup of green tea or miso soup to recharge and take on the afternoon. It is also a walking distance from MDPR's office.

We often go for the Bento Box. It is a customizable choice that is under $20. Rice and a garden salad accompany one or two of Katana’s most popular menu items all served in an organized tray.

The options include items such as Wagyu with Peppercorn Sauce, Salmon with Shiso Gremolata or Baked Crab Hand Rolls (our team’s favorite!) Most of the time we can't finish the box and have the leftovers for dinner.

We also highly recommend the Hanabi as the perfect little bite to go with your meal. These crispy rice squares topped with spicy tuna pack a serious punch of flavor (you might just need two orders!) Writing this post just made me very hungry!

Kanpai - Cheers in Japanese!
